On Tuesday October 5, a special event took place during the chapel service at Westminster Seminary California. The day before had been a milestone birthday for Dr. W. Robert Godfrey, the Seminary’s president. This event was marked by the revelation of a secret that had been successfully kept from Dr. Godfrey–no small feat. It was this: the Faculty of the Seminary prepared a Festschrift for their beloved leader, and it was presented to him during the meeting.
Titled Always Reformed: Essays in Honor of W. Robert Godfrey, it looks to be an excellent digest of Reformed thought. Among the contributors are Sinclair Ferguson, R.C. Sproul, Michael Horton, Richard Muller and many others. Here is the blurb for the book:
Always Reformed is a collection of essays in honor of the sixty-fifth birthday of our president, professor of Church History, and friend, W. Robert Godfrey. The contributors to and editors of this volume want to communicate our admiration for Bob and his work by trying to elaborate on some theme, question, or area of study that he has pursued in his career. We hope that Bob and the other readers of Always Reformed will enjoy and benefit from reading the essays half as much as we enjoyed and benefited from writing them.
At present, it is only available from the Westminster Seminary California bookstore, and for now, a discount price applies. Get it while its on sale!!!!
