Calvin’s 500th to be Observed in Italy

By admin | March 12, 2009

IRBS Fellows Drs. Leonardo De Chirico and Pietro Bolognesi will be participating in 3 important events commemorating the 500th anniversary of the birth of the great Genevan Reformer John Calvin. On May 13, a group of scholars will meet in Naples to investigate various aspects of the Reformer’s thought on orthodoxy and heresy, and on September 11-12, IFED will be holding a Conference on ‘Calvin the Controversialist’  at their beautiful facility in Padova.

The CERBI churches (the Italian Reformed Baptist Association) are sponsoring a three day/two night trip to Geneva on May 22-24. I’d like to take this trip with them.

Details may be found here. We pray that the Lord will bless these events for His own glory.
