On Monday, my book Edification and Beauty came forth from the press and should be available soon from online retailers. What is it about?
Edification and Beauty describes the practices of the Particular Baptist churches at the end of the seventeenth century in terms of three concentric circles: at the center is the ecclesiological material in the Second London Confession. This is then fleshed out in the various published writings of the men associated with these churches, and, finally, expressed in the church books of the era.
Topics: Baptism, Baptist History, Calvinism, Confessions, Evangelism, Faculty Books, John Owen, Pastoral Ministry, Puritanism, Puritans, Regulative Principle of Worship, Worship | Comments Off on Edification and Beauty
